Beyond The Basics
The SMS Rents’ Safety Training Program is specifically targeted to companies using construction, transportation and material handling related equipment but is available to any personnel that need to be certified in their industry. Most rental houses offer familiarization programs with basic information however, SMS Rents offers real classroom training with course material that includes and exceeds every CSA standard. Records are kept and certificates are issued upon completion of the program.
The Safety Training Program is open to individuals as well as group sessions for companies that need to certify their employees. For employers, the benefits of safety training include reduced insurance costs while avoiding fines from inspectors. However, according to SMS Rents, the number one goal is to save lives.
The objective of the program is to help on-site personnel be comfortable with the machinery they operate and to ensure that they are doing their job safely. That is part of the SMS Rents safety culture.
